Each silk is hand painted by Yelena Noah and is infused with symbolism and meaning. The Madingwa kimono is adorned by the lotus flower (symbolizing enlightenment, purity & strength through adversity) & the Akuaba doll (symbolizing fertility and often used as a talisman for luck and good fortune). The words Ma Ding Wa translates to I love you from the Ewondo language of Cameroon.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Dry Clean or;
  • Hand wash cold separately with mild detergent
  • hang to dry.
  • Iron on silk setting (delicate) with low steam.

*Allow 2-3 weeks for silk to ship. Each silk kimono is made to order and is first sketched and painted by hand, steam set, and sewn.
